about

In February 2015 I was honoured to be asked to record a session for Dandelion Radio by Mark Whitby, who has been a great supporter of my work over the years, with both Nanaki and Postcode. The result is this EP, five tracks that were broadcast on Mark's show throughout June. This EP sees me revisiting tracks from the past of Nanaki and is also the setlist of our earliest shows. To best experience the Dandelion Radio Session EP, please listen at high volume.

A blog talking about the EP can be found here - zebracore.tumblr.com/post/124494781874/nanaki-the-dandelion-radio-session-ep

Thanks to Mark Whitby for inviting me to record the session. You can listen to Dandelion Radio at dandelionradio.com

Thanks to Steve Halsall for lending me the bass used to record the higher bass line on 'Luthiers (Of Heaven)'.

'Awesome' - Clean,Nice, Quiet.

'He's still making astounding instrumental music...Undoubtedly one of the more talented guitarists and composers I get submitted to this blog, can't recommend Nanaki enough' - Spacerock Mountain

'I don’t know who Nanaki is, or what possesses him to make such great instrumentals, but Goddamn I’m grateful' - Berkeley Place

'A captivating invitation into the creative web of Daugherty...a glorious seduction only increasing in contagion as more off kilter twists and haunting enterprise leads into a fiery roar of sound, discord, and intensity' - The RingMaster Review

'Each track is great in its own way, perfectly illustrating the darker themes that Nanaki provides' - Raz Mataz Magazine
